Drake says he wishes he could squash his beef with rival Chris Brown, but admits it’s more of a fantasy than potential reality. The rapper was asked about his feud with the r&b singer in an interview with GQ.

“I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t,” Drake explains.

“I wish we could sit down just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down. If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly … Like, it gets really dark.”

Drake and Chris Brown’s entourages were involved in a bottle throwing brawl inside a New York nightclub last year that ended with Brown needing stitches. Drake has since admitted to sleeping with the love of Brown’s life, Rihanna. And the men have thrown shots at each other over and over again on various songs.

The Tuesday release of J. Cole’s new album “Born Sinner,” was marred after one of his fans took things to far in an attempt to get his attention on Twitter. That fan posted a picture showing himself pointing a gun at his sister, with the message:

“@JColeNC retweet me and I’ll buy Born Sinner. Don’t retweet me and I’ll kill my lil sister.”

J. Cole followed through with the request this morning by retweeting and then commenting, “Wildest sh*t I ever seen on Twitter.”

Whoever is behind the account responded by posting another image of someone holding multiple copies of the album saying, “I’m a man of my word.” Shortly after, the person behind the account started responding to the backlash from angry J. Cole fans, posting a series of tweets explaining himself:

“My Twitter is broken now bruh this sh*t is crazy … You gotta see these mentions … n*ggas ripping me apart,” he tweeted. “It’s a BB gun with no ammo. N*ggas just wanna be fake mad at something.”

BB gun or real gun, the Twitter prank wasn’t cute.

His 40/40 club has been going strong for ten whole years and Jay-Z was in the mood to celebrate. The rapper was joined by his glamorous wife Beyoncé and the pair toasted their success with a party at the New York venue on Monday.

The happy couple were seen clinking glasses of cold champagne as they cuddled up together on a sofa.

Jay-Z opened the Big Apple sports bar on June 18, 2003, and it closed for six months in 2011 for a $10million remodel. He also has 40/40 clubs in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

Mary J. Blige is being sued for skipping out on a concert and not returning her appearance fee.

According to TMZ Vision Entertainment Worldwide is suing Mary J. Blige after she canceled a performance in Dallas just days before the show. Apparently Mary got a better offer from Mick Jagger and opted to perform with the Rolling Stones at the Barclays Center instead of honoring her agreement.

Vision Entertainment claims Mary never returned the $145,000 appearance fee and are suing the singer to get their money back

Dave Chappelle famously walked away from a $50 million deal with Comedy Central at the height of popularity for his sketch comedy show ‘Chappelle Show’ in 2005. Dave makes his return with “Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour.”

The 13 day tour kicks off Aug. 23 in Austin, Texas and wraps up Sept. 22 in Phoenix, AZ.
